What is the University Heights Women's Walk Club? The UH Women's Walk Club a vibrant community focused on fostering friendships, promoting wellness, and exploring our neighborhood through walks and social events.
Who can join? Women of all backgrounds, including LGBTQ+ members, are welcome. Occasionally, partners are invited to join specific events.
How often do you have walks or events? We generally have 3-4 events per month, but sometimes up to 10.
What types of events do you organize? We organize neighborhood walks, socials, and specialized walks to local businesses.
Do I need to RSVP for events? RSVPs are encouraged to help us plan, as we're volunteer-based. Some events are capped due to the requirements of different businesses we collaborate with and if an RSVP is required it will be communicated.
Are your walks suitable for all fitness levels? Yes, our walks are generally suitable for everyone. If we have a longer or more strenuous walk or hike planned, we typically put a disclaimer for those attending.
Can I bring my dog to the walk? Generally, yes. Please check each event flyer for specifics.
